Rooted in IT, we provide timely, secure, and reliable access to information, communication and technology services.

The Content Management & Usability team is located in the University Support Services (USS) division of University Information Technology (UIT). 

We provide University of Utah offices, colleges, departments, and programs with website support using a Content Management System (CMS) called OU Campus. OU Campus is developed by a company named OmniUpdate, and is used by more than 700 colleges and universities, with over 50,000 users . It was voted top product in higher education for 2012, 2013, and 2014 by University Business readers, and is currently nominated for the 2015 People's Choice CMS awards for the best CMS for education.

From initial site creation to ongoing maintenance, we give our clients the tools and support they need to create engaging, accessible, intuitive websites that fit seamlessly into the overall campus website user experience. As a part of University Information Technology, we are located within a network of professionals dedicated to enhancing technology throughout campus. It is our mission to build upon this strong foundation and create an environment with rich access to training and support, and a full-featured toolbox.
