New Release: Font Awesome 7
What’s New?
Font Awesome 7 brings a major update to its icon library, adding over 4,500 new icons and refining many existing ones for better clarity and visual consistency. Core styles like Classic and Duotone have been updated, while newer styles such as Sharp and Sharp Duotone offer cleaner, more angular designs that align well with modern UI trends.
In addition to these core updates, Font Awesome 7 introduces a growing collection of specialized icon sets. These include unique design themes like hand-drawn, slab-serif, and sketch-style icons—giving users even more creative options for matching icons to their specific design style.
What do I need to do now?
Nothing. We’ve updated the components to include the new icon styles, and they’re available for you to use right away. Icons implemented before the update will continue to work; however, if you'd like to upgrade them to the new styles, the corresponding component will need to be deleted and recreated using the updated version.
Something to note: Since some core icons were updated, a few icons currently on your site may look slightly different. This could result in minor spacing or formatting issues that may need to be addressed.
